Mosso’s Erogograph
Mosso Ergograph is the apparatus
(laboratory set up) to record an ergograph. In Mosse Ergograph there is in
arrangement for fixing the fingers and for arm in the appropriate holders. A
cord passing over pulley and carrying a lead of 2 ½ kg at one end is attached
to a sliding plate. The sliding plate is connected through a sling to the
finger, the flexors of which is being studied. The metal plates also carry a
writing lever which writes on a slow moving drum. When the middle finger is
flexed, the load is lifted and the distance through which the load is lifted is
marked by the writing lever on the drum
