KYMOGRAPH
Electric Kymograph / Recording Drum
This electrically driven kymograph is designed for versatile use in both educational laboratories and industrial settings. It is an essential tool for student experiments, as well as for measuring atmospheric pressure, analyzing tuning fork vibrations, and evaluating steam engine performance.
The unit features a reliable drive mechanism powered by a constant-speed, heavy-duty electric motor. This is paired with an accurate gearbox and a robust plate clutch housed within the base. Users can easily select from eight distinct gear ratios (surface speeds) by sliding a lever into designated slots or using the control knob.
The 6-inch diameter recording drum and its stainless steel spindle are standardized for universal compatibility and interchangeability. The kymograph offers eight precise variable speeds, measured in millimeters per second: 0.12, 0.25, 1.25, 2.5, 12.5, 25, 320, and 640 mm/sec, controlled via a convenient hand gear.
